Mrs. Sara Decker Gregerson

Board Member

Sara Decker Gregerson joined the board in 2019 after serving as former gala committee member and gala chair for the organization’s annual Dine for Dignity fundraiser for the last three years. Her main roles at The Covering House revolve around fundraising and event management. Prior to this role, Sara served on the board of the Dwight Davis Tennis Center starting in April, 2014 and as President from 2015-2018. Mrs. Gregerson began her board work in 2008, serving as Secretary for the St. Louis District Tennis Association until 2010. Additional board experience includes work with the Jewish Family and Children’s Services-Young Leaders Board of Directors, Board of Trustees for The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, and the Racquet Club Ladue Board of Directors.

Sara spent sixteen years working in professional roles with increasing responsibility that had a focus on internal and external customer relationships, account management and strategic initiatives. Her most recent role was at Bayer (formerly Monsanto Company) where she was the Senior University Relations Talent Specialist on the Global Talent Acquisition team. In this role, she was responsible for managing key university relationships and strategic partnerships for the company and leveraging the Monsanto brand not only in the US, but globally. Prior to Monsanto, Sara worked at Washington University in St. Louis-Olin Business School, PNC (formerly National City Bank), and Citigroup.

Mrs. Gregerson left her role at Bayer in the summer of 2016 to spend more time with her young son, and to focus more attention on other initiatives she is passionate about in the St. Louis community including The Covering House.
