Mrs. Marcie Meystrik

Secretary

Marcie Meystrik became a board member for The Covering House in 2020. She has a civil engineering degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly the University of Missouri - Rolla), and has worked in public service her entire career as a planner for state and regional transportation agencies. Her current position is Director of Transportation at East-West Gateway Council of Governments, where she is leading the development of the St. Louis region's 2050 Long-range Regional Transportation Plan. She has also worked on numerous transportation studies that have led to improvements on the highway and transit system.

Marcie has served on the board of directors for New Horizon Center, which served children with disabilities and their families, and was a program auditor for the United Way. Her family has been a host/foster family for Safe Families for Children and the St. Louis County Children's Division. Marcie is very active in her church, and has served on the worship team as a vocalist for the past ten years. She is extremely excited to be a part of The Covering House family and their vital mission.
